Crystal Ball Shoe
To me the future meant next week, but that wasn’t what she was talking about. We weren’t exclusive, but since she’d just asked me where I saw our relationship going in the future, I had to figure she didn’t know that.
“Too bad I left my crystal ball at home today,” I said, trying too hard to be cute.
“Don’t be cute,” she said, “I’m serious.”
I could see that. I tried avoiding her gaze, but those baby blues of hers weren’t going to let me off so easily. She was a nice girl, and I wanted her in my life; I had to figure out a gentle way to tell her I needed our future to look exactly like our past.

Every shoe tells a story — Why in the world do I design things that you need to see through? They're a pain in the neck to paint. You should have seen the paint-by-numbers diagram I had going for all the pieces of that strap!
This shoe, along with the Tarot Cards Shoe and the Ouija Board Shoe, was created for a show called "Spirit Realm".
